counselling to fit what works for you.
-
gain the skills you want
If you become my client, we will work together to empower you to process and manage deep emotions, understand patterns, foster positive relationships, and cultivate a life with more clarity, joy, and self-trust.
-
get help from home
I counsel my clients virtually. We can meet by video using the Noustalk platform or by telephone - it's your pick. I offer weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly sessions.
-
take the first step
I provide free initial consultations. In this 15-minute session, we can discuss what you are looking for in a counsellor, the issues you'd like help with, and what questions you have about my services.
learn about me and my approach.
I work with my clients to engage in therapy that meets their individual needs, strengths, and goals. I use a relational and identity-affirming approach grounded in evidence-based practices. This may include the use of EMDR, psychotherapy, somatic approaches, and attachment therapy. There is no one “right way” to engage in therapy, and sometimes trial-and-error is the only way to know what works for you.
Change is possible. It may not be easy, but none of us are doomed to be stuck in existing places and patterns. If how you act, react, and interact with the world no longer serves you, it is time to find new ways of coping and relating to yourself and others. Engaging in this work can build your capacity to believe in your inherent worth and support your vision and goals for your life. My job is to help you throughout this process.
come home to yourself.
My job is to help you create a space where you can be yourself in the fullest sense – even if you don’t quite know who that is yet. If you feel as though you are putting on a daily performance for yourself and others, acting at having it together, or just faking it to make it, therapy is a place to take the mask off. So, come as you are. Anxious. Excited. Messy. Sad. Confused. Tired. Changing. There is nothing you can’t be and can’t feel in our sessions together.
